Dog Events ⚑
We have lots of fun and entertainment at the Fair, for owners and their dogs.
Well-behaved dogs (with their responsible owners!) are very welcome. Dogs must be kept on short, fixed (non-retractable) leads at all times. Restrictions to some areas may be in place during the Show e.g. the Food Court. Please clean up after your dog and think of other people. Make sure that you have adequate provision for it i.e. water and please do not leave your dog in your vehicle.

Taking place on the outer edges of the show, twenty two teams of skilled handlers and their highly trained dogs will compete against each other in this very skilled sport. Ten teams of 4 Retrievers and handlers compete in the Deer Park, and twelve teams of 2 Spaniels and handlers compete in the Old Park.
Both sets of tests start at 9.30am, the Spaniels start the day in the Old Park, and the Retrievers will be in the Deer Park. The tests finish with the exciting Lakeside finale where the teams take on the famous Team Challenge Water Test, kicking off at 2.00 pm. Spectators are very welcome.
The parade of teams and prize giving takes place at approximately 3.30 pm in the Gundog Arena, next to the Lake.
