Disabled Visitors

Disabled visitors to Sherborne Castle Country Fair are expected to pay for their own entrance ticket just like any able-bodied visitor, but are entitled to free entry for a registered/full-time carer. Where the disabled visitor is a child entitled to free entry (currently aged under 5), the carer must pay for their own entry, because no child of this age would be attending on their own anyway.

Disabled Facilities - Mobiloo

A Mobiloo (pop-up Changing Places facility) will be available at the Fair with hoist, adult-sized changing bench and everything else that you would expect to find in a fully accessible toilet. The Mobiloo is located next to the pedestrian gate at the front of the disabled parking area in the main car park.

If you would like to find out more, please visit

Please note that whilst the Mobiloo attendant will know how all the Mobiloo equipment works and may advise on its use, he/she is not available to offer any personal care to users of the facilities. Thank you.

Disabled Access

Disabled visitors can access all areas of the Fair, and can park in a designated area at the front of the car park. We suggest that on entering the site disabled visitors take a moment to study the site map to determine the most suitable routes around the Fair for their particular needs. Disabled facilities are sited around the Fair.

Near the entrance and disabled parking you will find Wheels for Freedom, where you can hire an electric mobility scooter or wheelchair for the day (available between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm).

Scooters cost approximately £15.00 each if pre-booked online. Wheelchairs are £10.00 each and must be pre-booked. Both also require a traceable form of identification. To make a booking please contact Ross Smith:
